This is the same great Powermatic Model 54A 6" jointer except it has the NEW Quick-Set knives that make for very quick, very accurate and very easy knive replacement. You still have the the 1hp, 1ph motor and the center mounted cast iron fence assembly along with the very large 66" x 7 1/4" table surface. The fence has positive stops at 90 and 45 degrees and you still get the 1/2" rabbeting capacity. The fine/quick adjustment lever on the infeed table offers quick set-ups with precision depth of cut. The heavy steel stand contains the powerful motor with a non slip V-belt for maximum performance.
